Likes: Coffee, animals, sports: especially tennis and baseball, wine, charcuterie boards, spreadsheets, being outdoors, sarcasm, sushi, brunch, and all things fall Dislikes: Atlanta traffic, inauthenticity, wasting time, public speaking, writing things about myself Adrianne is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and spent her entire professional career working in Corporate Tax, both in public accounting and industry. She has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from LaGrange College and received her master’s degree in Accounting and Taxation from The University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). Adrianne has always had a heart for helping others and believes everyone has talents and gifts that can be used for good. In 2020, Adrianne answered a call in her life to make a change. She decided to take some time away from the corporate world to focus on her family as well as volunteer work. Adrianne is most passionate about working with animals and children, specifically children who have experienced trauma. As a founding board member, Adrianne is excited to continue working with Atlanta Angels. Adrianne's "why" is rooted in a deep belief that all children deserve the chance to heal, break free from their circumstances, and become who they were born to be. She believes that the Love Box and Dare to Dream programs lay the foundation for children in foster care to believe themselves that all of these things are possible. It is her hope that each and every child in these programs will feel loved, valued, and have hope for their own futures. Adrianne resides in the metro-Atlanta area with her husband, two children, and two Siberian huskies. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, coaching baseball, eating good food, and being outside with her family. "I always wondered why somebody doesn't do something about that. Then I realized I was somebody" - Lily Tomlin
