She has served as a trainer for the world's leading volunteer service organization, Points of Light. She has also advised United Way Worldwide, CNCS, and FEMA on strategic volunteer engagement, volunteer management technology, and disaster recovery. As the founding CEO of Volunteer East Tennessee, Alexandra Brownfield had the incredible opportunity to launch East Tennessee's HandsOn Network Volunteer Center. She worked with hundreds of nonprofit organizations to manage and effectively recruit volunteers throughout the greater Knoxville region. Alexandra also previously worked at the HandsOn Network affiliate at the United Way of Greater St. Louis in Missouri, where she developed a 16 county bi-state volunteer platform. Alexandra is a graduate of Saint Louis University's School of Social Work and holds a Chancellor's Certificate in Volunteer Management from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She enjoys volunteering, being a foster mom and advocate for children in care, as well as spending time with her husband and four children. |
