On Saturday, July 27th, Atlanta Angels hosted our annual Back-to-School Bash at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, and it was an overwhelming success filled with fun, food, and activities for families, children, and youth experiencing foster care. We are thrilled to share a recap of this fantastic event and express our gratitude to everyone who made it possible! We reached out to our community for support through our back-to-school wish list and the response was overwhelming, with many generous donations pouring in, including school supplies, new clothes, gift cards, and more!

The day of the event was designed to help students prepare for the new school year with excitement and support. Attendees received backpacks filled with essential school supplies, a packed lunchbox, stylish back-to-school clothing, and a gift card for new shoes, ensuring they are ready to start the year with confidence! The event featured a variety of activities, including keychain and bracelet making, water bottle decorating, sidewalk chalk, yoga, and games, creating an exciting and engaging atmosphere for all.
One parent shared their gratitude: "Today’s event was absolutely wonderful! So well organized. We are especially grateful for the perfect school supplies. The volunteers were also so helpful. My kids had a blast."
Another family expressed their appreciation, saying, "I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and everyone for the incredible efforts and support that was provided for us on Saturday. Words are not enough to express my gratitude. Your dedication, hard work, and teamwork shone through. Thank you all for going above and beyond for our families. The kids had a great time, and we did too! I appreciate you all so very much!"

The success of our Back-to-School Bash was made possible by the incredible support of our community and the hard work of our volunteers.
