This 13-year-old youth had been waiting for a mentor for over a year! Her caregiver mentioned that she experiences bullying at school and is isolated socially. The mentor remembers that feeling of isolation and hopes to bring friendship and adventure throughout their mentor/mentee relationship. The youth has an interest in baseball, soccer & basketball. The mentor is a sports fan and can talk your ear off about almost all sports. I’m confident that the mentor will be an intentional supporter, bringing encouragement and fun to the activities they do.

It sounds simple, but we believe this mentor/mentee relationship has the potential to bring so much more to this foster family beyond supporting Sarah to chase her dreams.
