​Fall is officially here, and Georgia is full of activities to help you celebrate the season! Whether you're looking for family-friendly fun, outdoor adventures, or interactive ways to embrace the season, we’ve got you covered. Here are some fun ways to experience fall:

​

  1. Stone Mountain Pumpkin Festival (September 14 – November 3, 2024) Stone Mountain Park offers a magical experience with its Play by Day, Glow by Night Pumpkin Festival. By day, enjoy fall attractions like mini-golf, pie-eating contests, and dinosaur-themed adventures. When night falls, immerse yourself in the glow-in-the-dark parade, a giant glowing pumpkin tree, and an enchanting drone and light show. It's a fall event like no other in Georgia! The festival runs on Fridays through Sundays during the fall​
  2. Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch (September 14th - November 10th, Hours Vary) offers a 15-acre corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkins, and various family-friendly activities such as a kids' maze, gem mining, and a haunted trail called "The Dark Rows."
  3. Powder Springs Sleepy Hollow Farm (September 21- November 2) Take a tractor ride around the farm, explore the corn maze, and then pick out your perfect pumpkin from their patch! To get to the pumpkin patch you will need to purchase general admission tickets online in advance. Make sure you stop by and meet the farm animals
  4. Big Springs Farms Pumpkin Patch (Through October 27, Hours Vary) Enjoy a family-friendly fall experience with wagon rides, pumpkin picking, and hayrides. Kids can enjoy activities like a bounce house, gem mining, and a farm train, and face painting. It's a perfect spot for a fun-filled autumn day with free admission, plenty of festive activities, and scenic farm views.
  5. Dekalb’s The Strange & Unusual Halloween Walk (October 18-20 & 25-27, 7-9 PM) Enjoy the eerie atmosphere as you stroll through the Halloween-themed path, snap some memorable pictures, participate in fun games, and listen to a spooky story provided by Eckhart Public Library. No registration is required, making it easy for everyone to join in the fun
  6. Acworth JamBOOree (October 19 & 21, 2024, 3 PM – 7 PM) Head over to Logan Farm Park in Acworth for the JamBOOree, a fall festival offering live music, pumpkin decorating, and a costume contest. The park is transformed into a Halloween haven, with food trucks and vendors providing treats throughout the evening.
  7. Auburn Fest (October 19, 2024, 11 AM – 7 PM) This one-day celebration in Auburn, GA, includes arts, crafts, food, and live music! Reminisce on classic festival memories and barbecue. 
  8. Marietta’s Harvest Fest (October 19, 9 AM- 5 PM)  The festival includes the HarvestFest Arts & Crafts Show, Pie Eating Contest, Touch-A-Truck, Scarecrows In The Square, Costume Contest and Halloween Happenings kid’s festival. The festival is sure to please the whole family!
  9. Lawrenceville BOO Fest (October 31, 2024, 5 PM – 9 PM) For a Halloween-themed adventure, check out Lawrenceville’s BOO Fest. It’s all about costumes, trick-or-treating, and spooky family fun. The event features themed entertainment, games, and plenty of candy for kids of all ages.
  10. Lawrenceville Harvest Fest (November 9, 2024, 12 PM - 6 PM) Kick off your fall with Lawrenceville’s Harvest Fest. This event features a bustling farmer's market, live music, and craft vendors. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the cooler weather while exploring local goods. Plus, the kids can participate in fun activities like face painting and pumpkin carving.​
