Dislikes: Ambiguous plans, prejudice, loud cars Judy held many different majors throughout her undergraduate career, but finished with a degree in Human Development and Family Science from University of Georgia. The main drive throughout her studies was the need to dig deeper about her own development to better understand what it meant to embrace her bicultural identity and unravel childhood traumas experienced as an immigrant American. While individual experiences may be unique, Judy strongly believes true healing comes from a shared place of hope in a loving community. Being a part of offering exactly that is what excites her the most about being a part of the Atlanta Angels. Born in South Korea, Judy immigrated with her family to the US when she was 7 years old. While many of her cultural family traditions were lost, she is discovering the beauty of creating her own traditions with her friends and her loved ones. She is most excited about starting Christmas and New Years traditions of her own. Judy strives to be a lifelong learner and loves to challenge her perspectives as a way to grow. |
