Wow! What a year it’s been! A year ago from writing this, an amazing team (our founding board of directors) and I were eagerly awaiting our official fundraising launch - with no idea of what was to come in 2020. Had we known, we likely would have decided to postpone, because who launches a new non-profit in the middle of a pandemic?! But at this point, we had been preparing, planning, and anxiously awaiting this for over six months. We were ready; or so we thought. As for everyone, 2020 proved challenging.
