Ashley got her Master’s degree at University of Georgia and is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She has done work with youth experiencing homelessness, which introduced and led her to a passion for TBRI. Taking classes on foster care and adoption guided her to work in case management in the foster care system after graduate school. Ashley learned about the impacts of abuse and neglect, legal processes of child welfare, and challenges families and youth face in the child welfare system between her education and experience. Ashley is excited to use her education in nonprofit management and leadership, trauma, and foster care to support youth, families, and the community. She believes that support grounded in connection, empowerment, and meeting people where they are at will make a lasting positive impact on every foster family and the child welfare system.
Ashley enjoys spending her free time traveling, participating in kickboxing classes, cooking, reading, and having game nights with friends or family.
