She has a bachelors degree in Accounting from Stonehill College and a Master of Arts in Economics from Georgia State University. Throughout her career, she has made community service a priority in her family’s life. She has volunteered for the foundation at her children’s elementary school, the school council at their middle school and the parish pastoral council at her church. Additionally, her family donates and volunteers at the local food pantry as well as animal rescue organizations in Georgia. Upon learning of the mission of Atlanta Angels, Cara was eager to become part of the team. Knowing how the programs provide mentorship, relationships, and hope for youth in foster care, she wanted to support their work and help improve the future for the children with whom share their time. She is committed to assisting the team to further change the stats and empower youth in foster care to thrive. Cara lives in the metro Atlanta area with her husband, three children and five kitties. In her spare time, she hikes and kayaks with her family and dances in her kitchen while helping kids with their homework. |
