​Atlanta Angels is building communities of people that are literally changing the way children, youth, and families experience foster care. Passionate donors, volunteers, mentors, partners, and advocates  are all ripples in the sea of change for our foster care community.

Atlanta Angels currently supports 77 children in our monthly programs, but we are just getting started!

Parents are given the support they need to keep their doors open. Children and youth are empowered with the confidence and tools needed to live up to their fullest potential.

​RESEARCH SHOWS THAT OUR PROGRAMS ​ARE COMBATTING THE STATISTICS

The Atlanta Angels mission is to transform foster care across the country, and we’re getting the results to back up our success. Researchers with the Texas Institute for Child and Family Wellbeing at UT Austin have begun to evaluate the impact of our programs. Their findings have shown how we are empowering community members to change the foster care statistics and build lifelong connections

Meet important needs and provide long-term support for children, youth, and families in a way that is not offered through traditional services models

Establish relational permanence. National Angels volunteers remain committed to families and youth, and often stay connected with them after their volunteer period has ended.

Create normalcy opportunities for youth in foster care, which promotes healthy social development and well-being.

The social capital generated through National Angels programming can help reduce hardships experienced by children and families by providing relationship-based resources to navigate challenges.
