She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Focused CBT. She has worked in community mental health for the last 8 years and specialized in working with children and youth who have been impacted by the foster care system. Throughout her experience, she has directly seen the impacts of foster care from home displacements, school dropouts, homelessness, incarceration, drug/alcohol addiction, and much more. Muniza joined Atlanta Angels with the mission to work with a community to make a change. Muniza believes every child deserves a chance to reach their fullest potential. She believes every child deserves consistent love, support, and empowerment. And she believes in HOPE and believes in transforming the foster care system. |
