Leah received her Masters of Social Work with a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia. She has worked in the clinical setting as a mental health therapist, in the nonprofit space as an advocate for those impacted by human trafficking, and for the State in the family preservation and resource development departments. During these career paths, Leah cultivated a passion for working with children and their families, as she witnessed firsthand the lasting impact relational permanency and holistic support made on those in the foster care community.

Wanting to come walk alongside families and providing wrap-around support for youth was what drew her to the Atlanta Angels organization. Leah wholeheartedly believes in their mission of changing the statistics surrounding youth experiencing foster care and is led with continuous hope that their work will send positive ripple effects through the community.
Leah is driven by the idea that there is always progress to be made, and prides herself on being a lifelong student to the world around her. She is thoroughly excited to join the team and is looking forward to the relationships she will steward and the connections she will support
